Conference Formats
Conference calls can be used for entertainment or social purposes, such as the party line or a group call. Such entertainment-based conference calls are a good way of enabling unique groups to communicate with each other, perhaps to discuss topics of the day or socialize with others.
Conferencing Made Easy
A conference call is a telephone call in which the calling party wishes to have more than one called party listen in to the audio portion of the call. The conference calls may be designed to allow the called party to participate during the call, or the call may be set up so that the called party merely listens into the call and cannot speak.
Pay as you go
We can set up conference call functionality for you on a pay as you go basis where the cost of the phone calls is cost-neutral (0330, 0843/0844) to the participants; in this instance the conference service costs would be covered by a small fee payable by the host. Limits can be set for both numbers of participants and call-duration, so as to minimise costs.
Premium rate conferencing
Here participants dial in on a premium-rate number, and the conference is typically hosted by an expert who is imparting information or advice of value to the participants. A good example might be a dating guru giving advice and tips to members of a dating service.
